DGFilcom Meeting Minutes – March 31, 2024
Time: Meeting commenced at 5:30 PM and concluded at 7:00 PM.
Attendees: Mike, Janice, Jun, Bebeth, Cathy Base (New Coordinator), Ivy (New Coordinator).
Agenda Items:
- Introduction of DGFilcom Website: The official website was introduced (DGFilcom Official Website). The website is https://dgfilcom.dnsph.net
- Logo Presentation: The new logo was presented and officially adopted.
- Officers Election: The election of officers was postponed due to insufficient attendance. An interim President, Janice Amindalan, was elected by nomination and majority vote to serve from April 1 to June 15, 2024. An official election is to be conducted and ratified before the end of this interim period.
- Solicitation Guidelines:
- Explore potential assistance from the Philippine government in times of need.
- Discontinue public solicitation and selling activities.
- Treat any information not on the official website as unsanctioned and unofficial. Respond at your own discretion.
Upcoming Projects:
- DGFilcom Salo-salo Day: Scheduled for May 1, 2024. A potluck event with karaoke singing is planned. The tentative venue is the 2nd floor of Morning Café, pending confirmation by Jun with the property management. The planning team consists of Mike, Beth, Janice, Jun, Cathy, and Ivy, with additional members needed from Trustees and DCs.
- Zumba for a Cause and Food Fair: Details to be discussed further.
- Fun Run: Details to be discussed further.
Membership Registration: Currently, there are no members list. Registration will be available through a link to be created by Mike.
Next Meeting: The next official meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2024. Informal meetings may occur prior to this date. Janice is requested to facilitate the next meeting.
